Central Coast Home Health & Hospice is a fast-growing, locally owned and operated organization with an excellent reputation throughout the Central Coast. We are now seeking a part time or full-time Medical Social Worker to work with both Home Health and Hospice Adult and Pediatric patients in the South San Luis Obispo County area (5 cities/Santa Maria/Lompoc). Social Work is a rewarding career for self-motivated, organized, and compassionate individuals who work well with minimal direction, as well as having excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education OR bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
• Minimum of one-year social work experience in a healthcare setting, home health &/or hospice experience preferred.
• Understand the "hospice philosophy" and issues of death and dying
• Reliable vehicle to drive for work
• Current Driver's license
• Clean background & driving record
• Maintain auto insurance coverage
• CPR certified
