Human Resources Intern (Temporary)
Central Coast Home Health and Hospice is a locally owned and operated organization with an excellent reputation throughout both the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. We are growing rapidly and seeking a detail-oriented, self-directed Human Resources Assistant/Intern to join our HR team to assist with special projects over the summer.
This is a great first position for someone looking to build a career in human resources or general business management since it involves interaction with multiple areas of HR. The ideal candidate will have some education and/or experience in human resources, some work experience in an office setting preferred. Primary responsibility will be to assist in our transition from paper to electronic personnel files, track employee information and audit personnel files for compliance. Additional duties may include assisting with recruiting activities, assist with planning employee appreciation events for our 300+ employees, as well as assisting with other special projects.
- Strong computer skills utilizing MS Office and a variety of other web-based programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service approach.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing environment
