Hospice Arts Coordinator-Santa Barbara Part Time NOT REMOTE
Central Coast Hospice is a fast-growing organization with an excellent reputation throughout the Central Coast. We are expanding our hospice services and seeking an Art Coordinator to do art and craft classes in assisted living facilities as well as individual sessions in homes or facilities for individual hospice patients in the Santa Barbara County area. NOT REMOTE POSITION. Applicant must be willing to work in Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, and Goleta -more work available in the Santa Ynez Valley, Lompoc, and Santa Maria areas if applicant is interested. Experience teaching classes and/or putting together art activities for small groups preferred.

Work Schedule: Flexible scheduling of between 8-20 hours per week. Patient visits are generally Monday through Friday between the hours of 8AM to 5PM.
Requirements:
- Understand the hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying
- Basic art, crafts, and group facilitation skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and schedule coordination skills
- Open to working with people of different cultures, beliefs, values and lifestyles.
- Reliable vehicle to drive for work
- Current Driver's license
- Clean background & driving record
- Maintain auto insurance coverage
