Human Resources Assistant – Full Time (On-site)

Central Coast Home Health & Hospice is a locally owned and operated organization with an outstanding reputation throughout San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Full-Time Human Resources Assistant to join our team! (This is an on-site position.)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources, as it offers exposure to all aspects of the HR function. The ideal candidate will bring education and/or experience in human resources, along with strong organizational skills and a customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and track employee information to ensure compliance.

  • Support recruiting efforts including advertising, reference checks, and interview coordination.

  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation processes.

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, appreciation events, and company-wide activities for our 500+ employees.

  • Provide general administrative support and assist with special HR projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and various web-based programs.

  • Education and/or experience in Human Resources strongly preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
